This email arrived today and we are pretty excited to say that the Web09 intro video has been featured on www.typgraphyserved.com which features incredible work from creative professionals around the world.
Hello John,
I just wanted to notify you that one of your projects was just featured on typographyserved.com, one of Behance’s “Served” sites that we developed to further showcase the best projects in the Behance Network, within specific industries. Our editorial team features a small number of projects every day. With hundreds of options, we only pick a few that promote new thinking in the industry.
We also featured on “i love typography” blog in their weekly roundup.

Programme now online
The Web09 speakers programme is now online at http://www.web09.org/event.php. We have managed to add David Karp from www.tumblr.com who will be flying down from New York, US, to attend Web09. We are super-excited to have David, who has just been speaking at the SXSW festival.
We have also added Rod Drury, founder of NZX-listed and global online accounting software company www.xero.com. Rod has kindly accepted an invitation to kick Web09 off in the opening keynote.
Christian Schalk said he could not make it this year and has asked the lovely Pamela Fox from Google to replace him.
Hiroshi wont be able to make Web09 this year.
It’s now less than 30 days to get your Web09 ticket. Seating is limited, so don’t delay in getting your ticket!

WEB09, the User Experience Conference, welcomes Ryan Stewart, Andrew Spaulding, Dan Rubin
We are thrilled to add Ryan Stewart from Adobe USA to the WEB09 speaker list. Ryan does an amazing job talking about Adobe technologies and how they are used around the world. Ryan also has a great blog called The Universal Desktop on ZDNet that covers a wide array of internet technologies.
Andrew Spaulding is an Adobe Systems Engineer from Australia who specialises in Flex development. We also welcome Dan Rubin from Florida. He is coming down to balmy NZ to talk about jQuery and design. Dan has worked on many books, blogs and is very passionate about the web.
Sadly Biz Stone from Twitter and Michael Lopp will not be able to make our April 2009 date due to shareholder/work commitments.
If you are super-keen to attend Web09 and would like to bring members from your company, call John on 021 438 564 and ask about our group/company bookings.

Welcome John Casasanta from tap tap tap
This is an exciting annoucement — we have added John Casasanta, founder of taptaptap.com to the speaker line-up. Tap tap tap has a successful iPhone development studio, which has produced the apps “Where To”, “Tipulator” and “Classics”.
John is also the creator Macheist which is the number 1 Mac promotion site.
John also has a great blog that offers a lot of insight into iPhone development and marketing. He has a lot of knowledge around how to make great user interfaces and some of the processes that they go through.
